10 Cool new features in iOS 7
Apple’s WorldWide Developer Conference was held few days ago, and the next generation of operating system for the iPhone and iPad was introduced: the iOS 7. According to Tim Cook, the man in charge, iOS 7 represents the biggest step forward seen so far in iOS. Last night, I had the pleasure of testing the new iOS on a friend’s iPhone 5. He did not had the patience to wait for the official release, so he installed the developer’s version. After testing it for 30 minutes I concluded that the new version of iOS brings cool new features in appearance and in functionality, richer colors, while maintaining the smooth design and classic concepts. Everything about it feels dynamic and futuristic. Not bad, Apple…
iPhone 5S Concept Design
The anticipation around the launch of the new iPhone 5S is growing day by day, and gadgetry enthusiasts are showing signs that a bold move from Apple manufacturer is expected. The graphic artist, Federico Ciccarese, recently published a concept design model for the upcoming iPhone 5S. According to his design, the smartphone seems to part ways with actual design, it’s curved and the home button has new functions.
Magnetic Battery Back Cover for iPhone 5
I’ve seen many additional battery packages for iPhone 5, but most of them lacked in the design department. That’s not the case here, because this Case-Sticky-on Removable External Battery looks great, it feels great in the hand and it’s made of high-quality texture.
5 Cool Things to do with an old iPhone 3G
I have an odd habit: when I upgrade to a new smartphone, I can’t let the old one go. Sometimes, I like to keep it in the family, just because I want to play with it from time to time and know it’s safe. Sometimes, I keep it to myself, and I find new uses for it. One of my old phones is an iPhone 3G that I bought years ago. Now, I’m the owner of an iPhone 4S, which is much faster than 3G. As you know, Apple likes phone upgrades, so they “force you” to upgrade your iPhone by making new apps incompatible with old iPhones. That’s the case with my old buddy, because the latest iOS that’s compatible with iPhone 3G is iOS 4.2.1, and installing new apps is almost impossible (because you need iOS 5 installed). So, what can you do with an old iPhone that has no software coverage and it’s damn slow? Here are 5 cool things to do with your old iPhone.
Is iPhone 6 The Best Smartphone of 2014?
Once upon a time, there was an innovative company that changed every rule in the game when they released an outstanding and revolutionary device: the iPhone. Of course, I’m talking about Apple and about their huge success in the smartphone market. For a long period of time, there were smartphones and there was the iPhone. First, it was just cool to have an iPhone. Then, just like a drug, the desire became a need, and you just had to have the next iPhone model (although it was not too different from its predecessor). Apple fans created a cult for Apple’s devices, praising them at every possible level. They loved the idea that Apple has only one type of iPhone, and they are releasing only one model per year. But, as you know, things change… In the meantime, a new star rose in the smartphone manufacturers’ game: Samsung, from Korea. They adopted the exact opposite strategy, releasing as many phone models as they could. They had cheap phones, large smartphones, small smartphones, affordable phones. The breakthrough was the last year’s Samsung Galaxy S3, which helped the company to get the first place in terms of smartphone sales, giving Apple the second place’s shivers. So, what’s next? At this time, Apple really needs to put a hell of a magic trick to get back in the race. Here are possible features of the upcoming iPhone 6 that might just kick them back to the leading position.

Cool iPhone 6 pictures [concept]
These days, everyone is hunting for iPhone 6 rumors, pictures and official news. But there is another trend that gets a lot of attention lately: the concept photos. Digital artists are creating their own iPhone 6 pictures, trying to envision how the next generation of iPhone will look like.
iPhone 5S and iPad 5 release date
Since everyone agreed that the next iPhone will be released in the summer of 2013, every blog is trying to pinpoint the exact date of iPhone 5S release. Apple’s most awaited event of 2013 is expected to be scheduled for June 29, according Inquisitr.com, citing company sources. The event is named “Original Passion, New Ideas” and it will be held at Apple headquarters in Cupertino. With this event, Apple marks 6 years since the launch of the first iPhone, and it’s only natural to celebrate in a proper way, giving fans a glimpse of the next generation Apple gadgets: iPhone 5S and iPad 5.
Although iPhone 5s release event is highly expected by everyone, it will be different than the launch event of Samsung Galaxy S4. If the Samsung’s new gadget release event was created like a spectacle of extravagance, folks at Apple will probably try to tackle a show of simplicity, like they always did. Until then, you should check iPhone 5S: a review from the future.
Cool iPhone 4/4S Metal Case
I was looking for a cool iPhone 4S case for a while, and I was able to find this Chrome Aluminum case on Amazon. Although it is advertised as Aluminum case, it’s not made entirely of Aluminum, because it has plastic on the sides. But even so, it will definitely give your iPhone a new metal look. As you can see, I mange to crack mine in the volume buttons area, after my iPhone got dropped on the floor. The phone was ok, not even a scratch on it, but the case cracked (a small crack!).
