These days, tablets are following the trend that’s dominated by minimalism, computational power and thinness. Dell is joining the competition with the Dell Venue 8 7000, a tablet that’s just 0.24-inch thin (6mm). If you want to make a comparison, this device is slightly thinner than iPad Air 2, a device that’s notorious for its size. Venue 8 7000 has a strange name, but it does come with interesting features: a main 8 MP camera with Intel RealSense 3D technology that can capture detailed 3D information.
Other important features include a 8.4″ OLED infinity display that produces vivid images at a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and 359 ppi pixel density. Under the hood we find the Intel Atom Z3580 Quad-core CPU clocked at 2.3 GHz. The tablet has 2GB of ram and 16GB of internal storage.
