Google is working on a table that records 3D videos
According to a information that was just released by the Wall Street Journal, Google plans to launch a 7 inch tablet that will capture 3D images. The company is expected to produce 4,000 pieces in the beginning, starting next month.
The gadget is built by the Tango Project team and it incorporates advanced technologies that were previously introduced earlier this year. The tablet would have two cameras on the back, IR sensors and advanced software that allows the user to record precise 3D images of objects.
Project Tango is a platform for phones and tablets with Android devices designed to follow the movements while you hold it in your hand, simultaneously creating a map of the environment.
