How to share 3G Dongle via WiFi and LAN

Posted In Cool Gadgets - By JohnScript On Tuesday, December 4th, 2012 With 0 Comments
I had a 3G Dongle that I was not using that often, and I thought it would be cool to share that 3G connection via WiFi with my cell phones and laptop and via LAN with my Samsung Smart TV. But, how to do that? There are many 3G Routers on Amazon, but after reading all the reviews and filtering for LAN capable routers, I manage to find something that it’s not expensive, it’s fast and has good reviews.

Home 3G network in 5 minutes

This is TP-Link Wireless N Router (TL-MR3420), the perfect solution if you plan to share your 3G Dongle Internet Connection via WiFI and LAN. The 3G router is powered by an external adapter, and has omni directional antennas with a gain of 2x3dBi. It’s compatible with UMTS/HSPA/EVDO USB modems and the manufacturers say that it’s tested in the field. This router can share Intenet at speeds of 300Mbps, great speed for HD video streaming and gaming.
Also, it features PPPoe, Dynamic IP, Static IP, PPTP, L2TP cable Internet connection and the Wireless N speed is up to 300Mbps. It’s really easy to setup this device, just plug the 3G Dongle modem into the USB port and the router will set the WiFi hotspot.
If you get this router, remember to update to the latest software from official website.
