Interesting devices at CES 2013

CES 2013 brought into our attention lots of new gadgets and new technology. I’m sure all the major blogs and websites wrote about the usual suspects, so I will try to put some light on unusual and interesting devices of CES 2013. I will start with something never seen before (except of SciFi movies): a giant real life mechanical spider called Mondo. (pic by IGN.com)

The second device that really got our attention was the Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC. It can be used just like a Touchscreen TV, but if you set it horizontally, you will get even more power from it, as you can see in the following video. It runs on battery and it will last up to two hours. I wonder how it will be implemented? Because few apps will not be enough.

If you read this blog for a while, you already know that I’m a big fan of eco gadgets. GoalZero has created a variety of Power Supply devices called that charges directly from the Sun. The most interesting of them all is called Yeti 1250, it has serious proportions, and can power or recharge every devices on the market. It takes about 26 hours in order to get it fully charged.
