KITT from Knight Rider – The most amazing cars in Hollywood

Posted In Cool Gadgets - By JohnScript On Monday, December 3rd, 2012 With 0 Comments

Hollywood has blessed us with so many great Sci-Fi movies and TV Shows that created the biggest heroes of our childhood, but sometimes we tend to forget the amazing cars that we loved so much when we were young. This post represents the beginning of the series: “The most amazing cars in Hollywood“, and many will follow, so be sure to follow us on Facebook in order to stay updated.

Kitt from Knight Rider TV Show

KITT from Knight Rider TV show is probably the most iconic car I can think of right now, and I remember that I always wished I had one of these when I was older. Time passed and I am older, but the technology is not yet there. KITT had its own personality, and the front red light was something to remember for ages. We had 4 seasons of adventure with KITT and Michael, and I’m thankful for that.

The TV Show ran from September 26, 1982, to August 8, 1986 and had David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight. KITT’s body was created from a customized 1982 Pontiac Trans-Am sports model, and the cost to build was around US$100,000.
