According to recent information, in September this year Apple will launch three new iPhone models: a 5.8-inch OLED iPhone, a 6.1-inch affordable LCD iPhone and a 6.5-inch OLED iPhone Plus. But the well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kua says that these will be the dimensions we will probably see in the new Galaxy S10.
Thus, there is a high probability for Samsung to release three Samsung Galaxy S10 models: a 5.8-inch version, a 6.1 inch and another of 6.4 inches. All this information can be found in Kuo’s report for TF International Securities.
Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner built into the display
The 6.1-inch and 6.4-inch Galaxy S10 models will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen, writes MacRumors. Just like Apple, Samsung will also launch a cheaper version of the Galaxy S10 series. This phone will have the fingerprint sensor located on a side edge.
Galaxy S10 – Five cameras
The premium model, the Galaxy S10+, could have five photo cameras: three on the back and two on the front. The triple camera system will have a 12MP wide-angle lens, a 12MP telephoto lens and a 16MP ultra-wide angle lens.
3D Facial recognition system
Also, the Galaxy S10 series could have a 3D facial recognition system that is similar to the iPhone X. It will probably be much better than the 2D system we now find in the Galaxy S9. It remains to be seen if these rumors and reports will come true. Also, I am interested to see if these similarities come with copying accusations or even a lawsuit.
Galaxy S10 release date
The S10 Series will be presented in February 2019 at Mobile World Congress and the smartphones will become available from March 2019.
