Auto shows have a highly charged atmosphere, providing the excitement of catching a glimpse into the future. Although some cars seem to be built purely to spark the imagination, others provide a more realistic glimpse of what to expect in the near future from your favourite brands. The following are five concept cars that you can expect to see for sale shortly, combining innovative design with practicality.
Back To The Future is probably the movie of my childhood, and I’m still re-watching it every couple of years. I loved the time travel theme, I loved the fact that the main storyline happens in the year I was born (1985) and I loved the Marty & Doc team. But above everything else, I loved the time travel car, the DeLorean. So, you can imagine my reaction when I saw these images: “Great Scott!”.
This gadget is an unique stainless steel hard drive packed into a small model of the actual DeLorean from the movie. The case (the car) was constructed at a scale of 1/18 of the original, it is made of stainless steel with functional hood and doors, and the hard drive has a capacity of 750 GB with USB 2 connectivity.
I’m not sure if this concept was created as a joke, as a bold intention to amaze the world or like a statement of their innovation ability, but Lamborghini put a lot of muscle into the body of this car. It looks like a fighting tank rather than a sport car.
Past weekend, Lamborghini celebrated their 50th anniversary, unveiling their new concept: Lamborghini Egoista, a hyper-sophisticated car, inspired from Apache’s cockpit, with a single seat.
From 7 to 17 March 2013, car fans all over the world gathered in Geneve, because there was held the mosh important car event of the spring: the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Each year, this show tries to bring back hope to the world of European cars, a market seriously hit by recession. But Geneva Motor Show is not just about new and fresh cars, but also about the most beautiful women in Europe.
Do you remember fighting games with cars we used to play on old PS2 games? Well, Audi decided to create a short real-life duel with Paintball guns. The protagonists of this duel are two Audi RS 4 Avant, and everything happens in a large warehouse. Put your bets down and let the game begin!

China has a lot of history in creating clones after original gadgets. Sometimes I think they have a fetish in creating copycats with most of the products we enjoy today: gadgets, cars, fashion and toys. As you can see, on some of these products they did not even bother to change the names.
