The Golden Lamborghini Aventador

The Golden Lamborghini Aventador

Cars
They say there is a market for everything and if do you manage to get in touch with rich people you can even sell them everything. Even a ... real Golden Lamborghini Aventador that costs 7,5 million dollars. This Lambo model build from solid gold was designed by Robert Gülpen back in 2011, but the actual gold model hasn't been built yet. Instead, a model made from cheaper materials was built and it's available for sale at $650,000. Since 2011, Gülpen is looking for an actual buyer that allows him to build the real golden car. As you can imagine, the car is exhibited at a car saloon in Dubai. There is no better place to crave for attention than Dubai.

Top 7 Flying Cars of the Future (concepts)

Top 7 Flying Cars of the Future (concepts)

Cars
In today's Sci-Fi movies we always tend to see a future ruled by technology, where robots walk amongst humans and where cars are able to fly. Although this future is probable, we still have a long way to go until we'll be able to fly in our own personal cars. I can only imagine myself riding above the skies in an Audi or a BMW that is able to fly at speeds of 400 Mph. Although some concept artists envision the future flying cars with wings, I do believe they will work on a different technology (maybe using some sort of air propulsion). They need to be compact and extremely fuel-efficient in order to be embraced by the customers. Here are the top 7 concept designs with flying cars of…

Driverless Cars Hitting UK Roads this Year

Driverless Cars Hitting UK Roads this Year

Cars
Although a completely self-guided car still feels futuristic, the first public road test of driverless cars in the UK is due to take place later in 2013. Driverless car technology could potentially reduce collision rates and boost automotive efficiency, but there's a long way to go to turn this concept into a reality. Guided by a combination of cameras and sensors, these cars use the surrounding environment and internal computer systems to guide themselves along the road. (more…)

Cool Back To The Future USB Hard Drive

Cool Back To The Future USB Hard Drive

Cool Gadgets
Back To The Future is probably the movie of my childhood, and I'm still re-watching it every couple of years. I loved the time travel theme, I loved the fact that the main storyline happens in the year I was born (1985) and I loved the Marty & Doc team. But above everything else, I loved the time travel car, the DeLorean. So, you can imagine my reaction when I saw these images: "Great Scott!". This gadget is an unique stainless steel hard drive packed into a small model of the actual DeLorean from the movie. The case (the car) was constructed at a scale of 1/18 of the original, it is made of stainless steel with functional hood and doors, and the hard drive has a capacity of 750…

Lamborghini Egoista Concept Design

Lamborghini Egoista Concept Design

Cars
I'm not sure if this concept was created as a joke, as a bold intention to amaze the world or like a statement of their innovation ability, but Lamborghini put a lot of muscle into the body of this car. It looks like a fighting tank rather than a sport car. Past weekend, Lamborghini celebrated their 50th anniversary, unveiling their new concept: Lamborghini Egoista, a hyper-sophisticated car, inspired from Apache's cockpit, with a single seat. (more…)

DeLorean from Back to The Future – The Most Amazing Cars in Hollywood

Cars
Last month I started the first chapter of The most amazing cars in the Hollywood, presenting KITT from Knight Rider. Now, it's time for a new awesome car: the DeLorean Time Machine. This is another iconic car of our childhood, and most important, when I see it in action it reminds me of another life, when I was young and everything was perfect.  The total cost for creating this amazing car was around $150,000. In "Back to The Future"  movie, the Time Machine DeLorean was created by dr. Emmet "Doc" Brown, a scientist (a crazy of if you ask me!). With this car, Doc and Marty travel across 130 years of Hill Valley History. This is an electric car, but it needs nuclear reaction to generate 1.21 gigawatts of electricity needed…
