Vivo has announced the date of the official presentation. Their Vivo X20 PLUS UD smartphone will be the first phone in the world to have a fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen. The gadget will be officially introduced today, on January 24 at an event in Beijing.
In addition to the sensor that’s placed behind the screen, the smartphone will have similar specifications to the old X20 Plus: 6.4 inch AMOLED screen, 18: 9 display, Snapdragon 660 processor.
The new smartphone will have a dual camera on its back, 12MP and 5MP. The internal memory will be 4GB RAM and 128GB storage space. According to the information, the smartphone will cost about 510 euros.
The GSM Arena has already tested the new phone and says that the integrated screen sensor works well, but somewhat slower than previous versions. The sensor is made by Synaptics, which announced the innovation at the CES 2018 Technology Fair.
