The ROG smartphone is specifically designed by Asus for gaming enthusiasts and is part of the Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand.
According to a report recently released by DigiTimes, the new ROG Phone will be released towards the end of this year. Just like the previous version, this gaming phone will have impressive specifications and a very slick price.
The price for the first model was around $900, a sum added to the various accessories needed to improve the gaming experience.
The first ROG Phone screen had a 90Hz refresh rate and a response time of only 1ms. Probably we will find these specifications on the new model, or perhaps some higher ones.
Asus expects to get a nice profit thanks to the growing gaming market in China. As a matter of fact, ROG Phone 2, as it might be called the new phone, will be the best promotion in partnership with Tencent, the largest gaming company in the world
The new ROG Phone will be the first phone to be released after Asus officially announced its changing business strategy and dropped mid-range and entry-level phones, focusing only on premium gadgets.
