Nokia is launching solar cellphone charger

Smartphones
Although Nokia was really big once, they are losing their cell phone leader position to Apple and Samsung, and thanks to their latest marketing mistakes, they are losing fans... I'm sad about this because I really loved Nokia phones, but it seems they can't keep up with competition. But, they are still trying to innovate and create new devices like this solar powered charger:  Portable Solar Charger DC-40. It can charge a 1000mAh onboard battery in 4 hours. Nokia writes that this solar charger generates enough power in one minute that allows you to talk for two minutes. The device works better outdoors, but you can also use it inside, if you place it near a window. It weights 93 grams and the expected price for it is $14. Check…

Cool Features on Samsung Galaxy S3

Smartphones
As I said in a previous post, I'm going to upgrade my iPhone 4 with... Samsung Galaxy S3. iPhone 5 seems like a great phone, but I think it's time to try something else. Here are some cool features that you will find on S3's operating system, the Android OS. Right now, Android has around 60% market share, so we can expect more things to come for it. I love the way you can call/message your friends from Contact List, I love that you can upload music and movies directly to the phone, without the iTunes' limitations. I also love the video preview and the way that you can move video windows on the screen. And if we are here, I love the bigger screen. Even so, the S3 is…

Samsung launches Galaxy S III teaser

Smartphones
The Samsung Galaxy S III is pretty close because I can hear a lot of noise coming from Samsung. They just launched a teaser video, related to the upcoming Unpacked 2012 event. Their new slogan is Samsung = "Truly Smart Technology". It's interesting to observe that the video is not about the new smartphone but rather it's about humans. They did not miss this chance to take a shot at Apple fans (the sheep). this video reminds me of another cool commercial Samsung did a while ago: Funny, right?!
