The hotel industry is pretty large and profitable. The owners are trying to lure the customers using every technique you can think of, starting with the most crazy services, location, special offers. But what what happens when someone decides to create a crazy project from a plane? Some airplanes are getting lucky when they retire from job, because their life don’t stop here. An inspired hostel entrepreneur transformed the 1976 Boeing 747-200 airplane (formerly of Singapore Airlines) into the worlds first Jumbo Jet hostel.
The airplane hotel provides 27 comfy rooms with either 2 bed, 3 bed or also 4 bed dorm style. All at once, the Jumbo hotel proposes 76 beds; the luxurious rooms are encountered on the airplane’s superior deck, where you will find the cockpit suite with private bath and toilette.
PRICE: $65 per night, a double room around $200, the Cockpit Suite, at $530 per night.
