Gresso is a Swiss company that has created a lot of buzz in recent years with its customized devices that are specially addressed to a small percent of the market. I’m talking about rich folks interested in premium technology. Let’s face it, smartphones and accessories have always been a target for people with money, and the bar just got higher with the new Gresso Regal Luxury Smartphone.
The device has a premium metal body composed of five solid titanium plates that are hand polished in order to provide the best combination of acceptable weight and durability. With a thickness of only 8.8 mm, the Gresso premium smartphone presents itself as the thinnest luxury smartphone on the market.
The Gresso Regal Black Edition will be limited, only 999 pieces will be produced. Each of them will have 18 karat gold inserted in the back, along with a unit number and the number of devices available to demonstrate the product’s exclusivity. The company also offers the option to choose your own number when a client buy the device. The rest of the back case is made of PVD.
Talking about the specifications, you should know that this premium smartphone comes with a 5-inch Full HD display, a quad-core 1.5 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space. The device has two cameras – a 13MP main camera and 5MP secondary camera. As expected, it will run the Android OS.
Let’s get down to what’s really interesting about it – the price! There are three variants of Gresso Regal – the ‘budget’ version called Royal R1 that can be bought for $3,000, which does not feature the PVD titanium on the back. There are also the versions Royal R2 and R3, both costing $5,000. For that money, the customer will get the golden logo and everything else…
Each of these devices is assembled manually by a single artist and with only 999 models available, he’d better hurry and finish the job.
