The week begins with new news about the OnePlus 9 series, which will apparently be available in 3 models. So, we are talking about OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9E and OnePlus 9 Pro. Meanwhile, folks at Letsgodigital got new sketches of the phones and published fresh renderings with two of them. Then came designer Waqar Khan, with his own renderings and a video for OnePlus 9.
Let’s take it in chronological order … Information about the OnePlus 9 started as soon as the OnePlus 8T was released. It was rumored that this new smartphone will be available in 3 variants starting next year, 2021: OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9 Ultra. Then came the prospect of launching in March, a month or two earlier than usual. Two weeks ago, it was rumored that the Ultra model was abandoned and we only see the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. Now, it appears that OnePlus 9E will be introduced soon. It’s probably the budget version of the OnePlus 9, a kind of Galaxy S10e for the S10 series.
The news comes from the rumor of Max Jambor, who also reveals a kind of slide with the names of the terminals. Both the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro have had leaks so far, and the OnePlus 9 surprised with a modest camera at first glance: the triple with two large and one small lens. The design seems to continue on the line of the OnePlus 8T and Nord than on that of the OnePlus 8 Pro and 7 Pro. Turning to the renderings and concepts created by LetsgoDigital and Concept Creator, we see here both a OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9.
One Plus 9 Pro Features
OnePlus 9 Pro has a 6.7-inch screen with curved edges, and rumors say the display would feature a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It will also feature stereo speakers, in-screen fingerprint reader and charging at least 65W. On the back we’ll find a triple camera with two larger and one smaller lens. But if you look closely, you will find 2 side sensors. They could be a laser rangefinder and a color rangefinder. The screen is perhaps the most curved that was ever used in the OnePlus series, reminiscent of the Motorola Edge. Inside we will find a Snapdrago 875 processor and probably 8 or 12 GB of RAM.
OnePlus 9 has a flat screen with thicker edges and comes with a triple camera, but without those extra side sensors. It could have a plastic back instead of glass, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and a Snapdragon 875 processor. And the 65W charging is at the stations, as are the stereo speakers.
Apparently the main camera is a 64 MP one with optical stabilization. It also featuers two clips above, with 3D renderings for both phones. All that remains now is to find out a price and the color variants … Judging by what I can see right now, the following colors could be available: green, gray and blue.
