As the line between the tablet and the PC is getting thinner, there are devices like Surface or iPad Pro that make that line even more blurred. These devices are created to work both as a tablet or as a computer, but what happens if you want the same experience on your PC or on your MAC? Well, here comes Remix OS 2.0, an operating system that brings Android to your desktop PC / Mac.
Behind this OS lies Jide, a Chinese company that managed to answer the prayers of many users around the world. Now, you can install Remix OS 2.0 on every machine with a x86 processor, either Intel or AMD. Note that this operating system is already at the second version. Even so, it remains in alpha and it may contain bugs.
If you want to take a look at what you can do with this Android version, you can try Remix OS 2.0 directly from an USB stick. You will be able to be just fine with an 8GB USB stick with a writing speed of 20MB/s. Download Remix OS 2.0 here.
