I can always make a list with the coolest gadgets of 2013 just by including iPhone 5, a Samsung tablet and a great HDTV, but this time I’m going for something unique and special. I’m focusing on gadgets that are not as popular as the ones that folks usually mention when they make gadget tops.

If you are like I am, you always forget if you have closed the door or not. And this always happens when you just left the area of your home. I guess this is something usual for busy people that have so many things on their mind.  Lockitron is a device that will fix this problem for you. It has a cover that will fit most deadbolt locks, and has a WiFi connector, that will transmit the status of your door to your iPhone. This way, you will always know if it’s locked or not. Pretty cool, right? That’s why it’s second in my coolest gadgets of 2013.

It’s really hard to find safe public water these days. Of cours, you will not die if you drink tap water, but everyone acknowledge that it’s not pure. Camelbak is making cool water bottles for some time. Camelbak All Clear Water Bottle will use its ultra-violet tech in order to purify the content of the bottle in 60 seconds. This means that if you fill it with tap water, this bottle will convert it to pure water in 60 seconds. Great for your health and your wallet, right? The current price is around $90.
